(Un)Familiar Spaces was a juried student exhibition that brings together emerging artists exploring the fluid boundary between memory and place. Hosted at WIP Works, the show invites viewers into spaces both intimate and uncanny—where nostalgia, displacement, and personal history converge.

Marie Khediguian’s The Barber of Alexandria was selected to be shown alongside a dynamic lineup of talented artists. Her work contributes to the exhibition’s reflection on how memory transforms the spaces we once knew—be they homes, shops, or interior landscapes—into layered, sometimes surreal reconstructions.

Organisée en mai 2025, Topographies of Longing était une exposition collective qui mettait en lumière des artistes d'origine SWANA (Asie du Sud-Ouest et Afrique du Nord). Ces voix sont souvent sous-représentées, marginalisées ou fétichisées et cette exposition ainsi que The Weight of Fragments visent à amplifier les voix des artistes issus de ces milieux.

Galerie VAV, Montréal, Qc, Exposition de groupe avec jury Octobre 2024 Ballads of Displacement était une exposition de groupe explorant les thèmes de la dislocation, de l'identité et de la mémoire. Présentant des œuvres de sept artistes, dont trois pièces de Marie Khediguian (Anchored in Time, Alexandria, Egypt, 1950s, et Bearing Witness), l'exposition a examiné le déplacement comme étant à la fois isolant et transformateur. Organisée par Emitees Tajdari, l'exposition invite à réfléchir sur la survie, l'héritage et l'appartenance. Une conférence d'artiste animée par India-Lynn, dans le cadre du programme IUNGO Talks, a permis d'approfondir le dialogue sur les récits personnels

Février 2025 : Symposium Nostalgie Love & Loss

En collaboration avec l'Institut Milieux, 4th Space et l'Université Concordia, Nostagain est un symposium d'une journée et une vitrine de création de recherche présentant des œuvres d'étudiants, de chercheurs et d'artistes. J'ai présenté trois de mes peintures : Bear Witness, The Barber of Alexandria, et Alexandria, Egypt in the 1950s. L'événement a rassemblé des artistes et des chercheurs qui ont exploré les thèmes de la mémoire, de la migration et de l'héritage intergénérationnel. Mon travail a contribué à un récit visuel enraciné dans l'expérience de la diaspora arménienne et l'histoire de la famille, offrant des réflexions intimes sur la survie, le lieu et la continuité culturelle.

Anchor est une exposition de groupe qui s'inscrit dans le cadre du Festival Art Matters, le plus grand festival étudiant d'Amérique du Nord, qui se tient dans des galeries partout à Montréal au mois de mars. Anchor invite les spectateurs à réfléchir à leurs propres ancres et à la façon dont l'art peut éclairer les chemins de la stabilité et de l'espoir. L'exposition présente des œuvres de neuf artistes, dont la première pièce des séries sur les déesses arméniennes, Anahid, déesse de la fertilité par Marie Khediguian.

Anchor was a group exhibition part of Art Matters Festival: North America’s largest student-run festival held in galleries all over Montreal that takes place in March. Anchor invites viewers to reflect on their own anchors and the ways art can illuminate paths to stability and hope. Featuring works by nine artists, including the first piece of the Armenian Goddess series, Anahid, Goddess of Fertility by Marie Khediguian.

A group exhibition exploring themes of dislocation, identity, and memory. Featuring works by seven artists, including three pieces by Marie Khediguian (Anchored in Time, Alexandria, Egypt, 1950s, andBearing Witness), the show examined displacement as both isolating and transformative. Curated by Emitees Tajdari, the exhibition invited reflections on survival, heritage, and belonging. An artist talk led by India-Lynn, as part of the IUNGO Talks program, deepened the dialogue on personal and collective narratives.

In conjunction with the Milieux Institute, 4th Space and Concordia Univeristy, Nostagain is a day-long symposium and research creation showcase featuring works by students, scholars, and artists. I presented three of my paintings: Bear Witness, The Barber of Alexandria, and Alexandria, Egypt in the 1950s. The event brought together artists and scholars exploring themes of memory, migration, and intergenerational legacy. My work contributed a visual narrative rooted in Armenian diasporic experience and family history, offering intimate reflections on survival, place, and cultural continuity.
